These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the dseconds.com website and the Dseconds AV Tools software plugins ("the Software"). By downloading, installing, subscribing to, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
Dseconds AV Tools is operated by Dseconds Av Tools FZC LLC, a Free Zone Company registered in Ajman, United Arab Emirates (Licence No. 2627216030888). We develop SketchUp plugins for audio-visual and live-events professionals.

This is the most important section. Please read it carefully.
The Software is a design-aid and visualisation tool intended for preliminary studies only. It helps you place, count, configure and visualise LED walls, truss layouts and projection setups inside SketchUp, and it generates indicative figures such as cabinet counts, segment lengths, weights, power figures, throw distances and bills of materials.
The Software does not perform certified engineering calculations and is not a substitute for professional engineering judgement. All output is approximate and provided for early-stage planning and visualisation.
The Software must not be used as the sole basis for determining rigging loads, suspension methods, structural capacities, venue load limits, point loads, distributed loads, safety factors, or engineering approvals.
Any power consumption, current draw, electrical load, breaker sizing, phase balancing, cable sizing, or power-distribution information generated by the Software is indicative only and must be independently verified by qualified personnel prior to installation or operation.
Before any real-world deployment, installation, rigging, suspension, electrical connection or public use, all designs, loads, structures and technical data produced with or derived from the Software must be independently reviewed, verified and approved by a suitably qualified engineer or other competent professional. You are solely responsible for obtaining such verification and approval.
The Software is not certified under any structural, electrical, mechanical or safety standard. Any reference to standards (for example load-related calculations) is indicative only and does not constitute certification or compliance.
The final responsibility for any design, installation, procurement, rigging, structural verification, electrical implementation, and operational safety remains solely with the user and the qualified professionals engaged on the project.
The product databases within the Software (LED panels, truss series, projectors, lenses and related data) are compiled from publicly available manufacturer documentation, datasheets and product catalogues.
Dseconds Av Tools FZC LLC is an independent software company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any manufacturer, brand, or trademark holder referenced in the Software, on this website, or in any screenshots, videos, or database examples. All product names, model names, trademarks, logos and specifications are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and interoperability purposes only.
Manufacturer data may contain errors, may be outdated, or may differ from the latest official specifications. You are responsible for verifying all technical data against the current official manufacturer documentation before relying on it.
Not all manufacturers, models, product revisions, accessories, lenses, or configurations available in the market are necessarily included in the Software databases.
Any calculations generated by the Software, including but not limited to:
are provided for estimation and planning purposes only and must not be considered engineering calculations, installation approvals, safety certifications, or manufacturer-certified values.
Users must independently verify all calculations before relying on them for purchasing, engineering, fabrication, installation, or operational decisions.
Any reports, exports, schedules, bills of materials, CSV files, HTML reports, screenshots, drawings, or documentation generated by the Software are provided for convenience only and remain subject to all limitations and disclaimers contained in these Terms.
Users are responsible for independently verifying all exported information before using it for procurement, fabrication, installation, engineering review, client documentation, or project execution.
The inclusion of information within an exported report does not imply technical approval, engineering validation, regulatory compliance, or suitability for installation.
Subject to these Terms and, for PRO editions, an active subscription, Dseconds grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software for your own professional or personal use, subject to the licensing limits associated with the purchased subscription.
You may not: resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent or lend the Software; decompile, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying databases or source beyond what is permitted by applicable law; remove or alter any notices; or use the Software to build a competing product.
FREE editions are provided for evaluation and limited use, with a reduced feature set. PRO editions unlock the full feature set for the duration of an active subscription.
PRO editions are sold as annual subscriptions, per plugin or as a Suite Bundle, subject to the licensing limits associated with the purchased subscription.
All payments, invoicing and VAT/tax compliance are handled by LemonSqueezy, acting as our Merchant of Record. Your contractual relationship for the payment itself is with LemonSqueezy, and their terms also apply to the transaction. We never see or store your full card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price each period unless cancelled. Founder pricing, where offered, is a promotional offer and may be withdrawn for new customers at any time; for customers who subscribed at a Founder price, that rate remains locked for as long as the subscription stays active and is renewed without interruption, subject to the conditions stated on the website.
You may cancel at any time from your LemonSqueezy customer portal. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Software and website are provided on an "as available" basis. We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue any feature, database, plugin or the website at any time. We aim to maintain compatibility with supported SketchUp versions but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
All rights in the Software (excluding third-party manufacturer data and trademarks, which remain with their owners) — including code, interface design, original database structure, and branding — are owned by Dseconds Av Tools FZC LLC. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Software, its calculations, its data, or its output are accurate, complete, current, reliable, or suitable for any particular use, including any production, structural, rigging, electrical or safety-critical use.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Dseconds shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Software or its output.
Dseconds shall not be liable for any damage, injury, loss, structural failure, equipment failure, accident, or cost arising from reliance on the Software's output without independent professional verification and approval as required by Section 2.
This limitation specifically includes any claims arising from rigging failures, structural failures, electrical failures, equipment damage, venue restrictions, project delays, production interruptions, or incorrect specification of audiovisual systems.
In all cases, and to the extent liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Software or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you actually paid to us (via LemonSqueezy) for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence, or for fraud).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dseconds Av Tools FZC LLC from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Software in breach of these Terms, your reliance on its output without the verification required by Section 2, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
Your use of the website and Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable within the Emirate of Ajman, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply, those protections are not affected by this clause.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes affecting active subscribers will be notified by email where reasonably possible. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
